If Mason Ramsey is gonna be famous for something, he’s gonna be famous for country music superstardom.
The 11-year-old Walmart yodeling kid is finding big success outside of the retail giant as his debut single “Famous” officially tops the iTunes country chart, beating out releases from Jason Aldean, Kane Brown, Kenny Chesney and others.
Since its release on Friday (April 27), “Famous,” which sits at No. 8 on the iTunes all-genre chart, has also become the most streamed country song on Spotify in the U.S., tallying more than 3.2 million streams so far.
Mason performs next at the 2018 iHeartRadio Music Festival this weekend in Austin, Texas.
Watch it live Saturday at 8pm ET/7pm CT on @ATT on Twitter or listen live on iHeartCountry radio.
Tickets to see the show in person are on-sale at TexasBoxOffice.com.
