Jelly Roll hailed Zach Bryan “the greatest of this generation,” as he shared his reaction to the new interview conducted with Bryan and legendary singer-songwriter and guitarist Bruce Springsteen.
Bryan and Springsteen were featured in Rolling Stone’s sixth-annual Musicians on Musicians issue. the conversation between the two artists, moderated by senior writer Brian Hiatt, is one of seven pairings in the annual Rolling Stone issue this year, per a press release issued Wednesday (October 16). Throughout the conversation Springsteen commented on Bryan’s rapidly-rising career, Bryan shared why he doesn’t want to be viewed as a country artist, Springsteen reflected on the story behind writing “I’m on Fire,” and more. “This Zach Bryan and Springsteen interview is remarkable,” Jelly Roll wrote in a post on X, formerly Twitter, on Thursday (October 17). “I couldn’t imagine how Zach felt in that moment. What a beautiful and inspiring thing to witness.
