Lady A shared an unforgettable moment with a bride-to-be during a recent tour stop in Indianapolis, Indiana. It happened during the trio’s ongoing “Request Line Tour,” which kicked off earlier this year and offers concertgoers a unique opportunity to call a phone number and tell the band which songs they want to hear at the shows they’re planning to attend.
The group played one of the voicemails Lady A received. The crowd cheered as they heard the woman who called say, “we are celebrating Caroline’s bachelorette party at the Indianapolis show on Saturday night, and we want to hear ‘Man! I Feel Like A Woman,’ by Shania Twain.”
“Send the bride up here,” frontwoman Hillary Scott said, and held Caroline’s hand as she walked on stage in her white cowgirl boots, denim shorts, white top and white cowgirl hat with shimmering fringes dangling from the brim. Caroline kicked off Twain’s iconic 90s anthem with “let’s go girls,” and sang alongside Scott throughout the cover.
Scott kicked off the “Request Line Tour” with Lady A bandmates Charles Kelley and Dave Haywood in April with back-to-back performances at the historic Ryman Auditorium in Downtown Nashville, Tennessee. Lady A is inviting fans to weigh in on their set lists, calling 615-882-1975 to make requests. See the group’s throwback video with the bride here:
