Miranda Lambert’s latest Instagram post quickly prompted comments from eager fans. The powerhouse singer-songwriter seemingly hinted that new music is on the way soon, and also appeared to hint that she joined forces with a few other artists.
Lambert, however, only wrote “stay tuned” in her caption as she shared a few photos on Instagram on Tuesday (May 30), so it remains unclear which artists she may have recorded duets with and when they would release. Lambert's post included two pictures taken from inside of a recording studio and an interview clip that captures Lambert saying: “I’ve got a few collabs up my sleeve that I’m very excited about.”
Though it wasn’t immediately clear which artists would appear on any future collaborations, at least one of Lambert’s Instagram followers guessed Jelly Roll. The “Son of a Sinner” superstar previously appeared in a selfie with Lambert, who said she “loved writing a tune” with him and songwriter Jesse Frasure. Lambert and Frasure appear as songwriters on “The Lost,” which appears on Jelly Roll’s 13-track album that’s set to release on Friday (June 2).
Lambert also recently shared a snippet of a collaboration with Gravel & Gold artist Dierks Bentley. The two country hitmakers “have a few new songs” set to appear in in the CBS drama Fire Country, they announced on their social media channels earlier this month. Fire Country replied: “Miranda + Dierks + Fire Country? A dream 😍 We’re SO ready 🔥”
