This smile is sweet as pie.
Kane Brown took to Instagram to share two new photos of his daughter, Kingsley, just a few months ahead of her second birthday. While Kingsley shows off her "serious face" in the first photo, she lights up with the biggest smile in the followup.
The country music star loves highlighting his adorable daughter on social media. Just last week, Brown shared a video to Instagram where the father-daughter duo dance around to his new song 'One Mississippi.' Once again, Kingsley showed off her sweet smile. "She wouldn't shake her hips like she usually does but she's dancing to my new song one Mississippi are you?" Brown captioned the video.
It's clear from his social media that Brown loves being a dad. While chatting with People recently, he gushed about watching Kingsley grow. "She is amazing. I might just be biased because she's my daughter, but I think she's the perfect baby. She can't even talk yet, but she's just so smart in communicating," he said. "She wants to go outside, she'll bring you her shoes and socks and say like, 'Yo, put these on. We're going outside.' And she just can tell you yes or no, even without talking. She's just my world."
The 27-year-old artist returned to his Chattanooga, Tennessee hometown last week for the opening of the East Lake Boys & Girls Club, which was part of the 100 Hometowns initiative launched by Brown in partnership with Lowe's earlier this year. The project aimed to put $10 million back into some of the communities Lowes serves.
"It's amazing just to see it done," Brown, who used to be a Lowes employee, said in a statement. "It's also really cool that Lowe's started it in my hometown, and I got to do the Boys & Girls Club, which I'm also really close with, so I feel like I'm giving back to them. They still have 99 other projects to go for other communities, and we're just excited that they're going to feel the same way we feel about this one."
"Growing up with a rough life, I wish somebody would have just stepped up and helped me," he said. "So now with the platform I have, I love that I get to do what I wish somebody would have done for me, and it means the world to me just to be able to put a smile on at least one or two people's faces."
