Florida Georgia Line and Nelly are back together again. This time they're talking about cocktails.
Most country music stars know their way around the barroom, but FGL and Nelly might be the top alcohol aficionados. Cue the spiked eggnog because these country music singing bartenders dropped in with Cody Alan to share their all-time favorite holiday cocktail recipes.
"Man, I'm gonna be straight up. Right now, it's real simple, says Brian Kelley of Florida Georgia Line. "It doesn't need to change, don't need to get to crazy with it. So first, you take a nice smart water, and you make your own old fashion cube with it. You want to have a healthy cube right when it waters down, and then maybe, some wolf moon bourbon on the rocks with that healthy cube. Watch out!"
"I'm with BK. I like to get right to business," says FGL's duo-mate Tyler Hubbard. "I like to drink something dark on the rocks. Maybe even a little tequila at times, but yeah, I am more of a "Let's throw some bourbon on the rocks and get the party started."
"Oh to be young again," chimes in rapper Nelly. "They just get straight to it, bro! They're like, "I can drink all day and shake it off by morning and be up." No! No! No! No! No! I probably agree with them on some levels, like, definitely. Their bourbon is off the chain on some levels."
"Now I could probably do about two or three shots and a nice drink with them," continues the "Dilemma" singer. "But, I can't finish the bottle like these guys! These guys are troopers, man! I mean, around the holidays, I'm pretty much open, man. Like, whatever someone is makin'. If they've got the punch going, I don't mind the eggnog with bourbon."
Sip a little FGL 'Wolf Moon Bourbon' and crank up "Lil Bit" for a little while by watching the video below. This dance-ready beat with a bit of twang will undoubtedly get you energized enough to tackle all of your holiday decorating.
