Lady Antebellum’s Strange Super Bowl Food Pairings

The Kansas City Chiefs and San Francisco 49ers will go head to head on Sunday, Feb. 2nd to try and take home the Lombardi trophy and earn a Super Bowl to their franchise's lore, but a lot will be going down before the game that has absolutely nothing to do with football.

We are talking about the other "F-word,"….FOOD.

So, what will be cooking in the Lady Antebellum kitchen? The trio recently joined Cody Alan to reveal what their Super Bowl parties will consist of!

"Anything with Fritos would be great," says Dave Haywood. "Yeah. Like chili with Fritos on the bottom." Not a bad choice. Cody added that he also loves Fritos with a fresh seven-layer dip.

Charles Kelley doesn't shock anyone with his response. "I like to have a super bowl keg," he laughs. "Not just cans of beer. Something that feels celebratory and football and manly and college, like getting a keg. I'm a big fan of Coors Light, got to tap those Rockies baby. I'm a simple Sally."

"We always do chili," Hillary Scott chimes in. "And for an appetizer, I really like bacon-wrapped dates. They're amazing."

Not everyone in the room agreed with the idea of munching on bacon-wrapped dates, but everyone is excited to countdown to the big day. Football and country music go hand in hand, it's a pairing that just makes sense. Bring on the Fritos and, um, bacon-wrapped dates.
