Lauren-Michael Sellers delivered an emotional rendition of Jelly Roll’s “I Am Not Okay” when she took the stage during The Voice playoffs on Monday (November 25). Coach Michael Bublé quickly said “wow,” as the Team Reba McEntire singer kicked off her performance.

Sellers said the Jelly Roll said music is “like therapy” to her. Reigning ACM Entertainer of the Year Lainey Wilson, who reunited with McEntire as a Playoff Advisor on the show this week, said during rehearsals, “I’m going to have to borrow your Kleenex, Reba. She’s very dynamic, her story, you can feel it oozing out of her body.”

Jelly Roll released “I Am Not Okay” in June, as fans eagerly awaited his new studio record, Beautifully Broken, which arrived last month. The reigning iHeartRadio Music Awards Best New Artist award in both Pop and Country categories reminded listeners with the heartfelt single that “it’s okay to not be okay, but its all gonna be alright!” Jelly Roll performed “I Am Not Okay” on the season finale of The Voice earlier this year, and again when he headlined the main stage at CMA Fest in Downtown Nashville, Tennessee.
