Luke Combs shared new details about his upcoming 18-track album on Thursday morning (January 26), including the album’s artwork and how he expects listeners will be able to relate to the whole collection.

“This album is about the stage of life I’m in right now,” Combs explained. “One that I’m sure a lot of us are in, have been through, or will go through. It’s about coming of age, loving where life is now but at the same time missing how it used to be, continuing to fall for the one you love and loving them no matter what, living in the moment but still wondering how much time you have left, family, friends, being thankful, and leaving a legacy. Me and so many others have poured their hearts and souls into this record and I hope you love it as much as we do.”

Fittingly, the album appears to be titled Gettin’ Old, following the award-winning country giant’s 12-track project, Growin’ Up, which released last year (just a few days after he welcomed his firstborn son). Combs previously confirmed that one of the songs from the upcoming album, “Growin’ Up and Gettin’ Old,” is set to release Friday (January 27). It’s a song that the reigning iHeartRadio Music Awards Country Artist of the Yearhas previously teased the unreleased track on his social media channels (along with a few other songs): “It's when you start thinkin' how much time left you got / If there's more sand, in the bottom or the top / 'Cause that hourglass we have don't last forever / I've been thinkin' 'bout it more and more these days / It's like the less you have the faster that it goes / In the middle of growin' up and gettin old.”

Combs’ highly-anticipated 18-track album is set to release on March 24, just in time for his 16-country world tour with special guests Riley GreenLainey WilsonFlatland CavalryBrent CobbCody Johnson and Lane Pittman on select dates.
