Kelsea Ballerini Shares Adorable Childhood Throwback Pic In The Best Way

Kelsea Ballerini shared an adorable childhood photo, and it might show that some things aren’t exactly “subject to change” after all.

Ballerini took to TikTok on Monday (January 23), showing a throwback pic of herself as a child, where she appears to be singing into a microphone. That photo dissolves into a more recent image of the award-winning superstar, decked in a flowing yellow dress and sky-high boots as she performs on stage. Ballerini shared the stunning photo from a previous show on the “HEARTFIRST Tour,” which is set to kick off again this year: “countdown to tour is onnnn 🥰🙌🏼 #heartfirsttour”

Ballerini announced her 2023 “HEARTFIRST Tour” dates earlier this month. Those dates are set to kick off in March, after Ballerini returns from some international shows. The award-winning singer-songwriter launched her tour in support of her latest album, Subject To Change, a 15-track project she previously explained was largely influenced by 90s female country.

The tour is named after “HEARTFIRST,” the single that kicked off Ballerini’s latest era of music last year. Ballerini wrote the song with Karen Fairchild and Alysa Vanderheym, and Julian Bunetta and Shane McAnally produced it. She previously explained that “HEARTFIRT” set the stage for Subject To Change  because “it’s very warm, very breezy-feeling, very settled. That’s kind of the tone of the whole project that I’m working on, and I feel like ‘HEARTFIRST’ was the first step into that new world.”
